For the love of dance

What is Dance? 

Dance to some is a way to be free, to be themselves, or to just express the way they feel. 

For the past 20 years, I have seen firsthand the world of dance. From the dance school practices to traveling to the competitions, Dance school photography became a part of TL Green Photography because of Cecilia and her lifelong commitment to being a dance school teacher. 

I spent a lot of time with her at the dance school and recitals and one day decided to shoot pictures to help past the time away. 

Since that day, it has become a big part of what we shoot every year. We have been fortunate enough to have captured some amazing young dancers. 

We would like to thank NJ Dance Fusion, Dancing on The Edge, Danielle Peyton Dance Company, Alma Dance Academy of New Jersey and Yolanda`s Academy of Music and Dance.

From East to West….A wedding in the making

So what’s a girl to do when you move to the West Coast but want to incorporate your East Coast upbringing into you engagement photos? You pick up the phone and make it happen!

When we received a call from Gisela, she asked if we would be interested in taking engagement photos of her and her fiancée, Jacob.

Of course we said yes!! The only specifics given were to capture some of her New Jersey upbringing.

We decided that Liberty State Park in Jersey City, NJ would be perfect for a “Golden Hour” session. We could not have asked for a more perfect day!! Enjoy the video below. Click on settings and watch in 720p

TLGreen Photography-Cake Smash-Princess Amelia

First Birthdays are always a big reason to celebrate. And what better way to do that  than with a Cake Smash!
We love cake smashes here at TLGreen Photography. Amelia had a blast at her photo session/cake smash.  Kelly and Mark picked the perfect theme for their Disney princess.  Amelia looked adorable dressed as “Snow White. Her cake smash along with her portrait session pictures were taken at  Kip's Castle. Lets take a look at a few our favorite pictures
 

With a quick a change Amelia was ready for her cake smash !!! She had a great time digging into that yummy cake.  

Todd and I loved the fact that her big sisters joined her at the end!!!!!!
